libvibrant6-dev software package provides NCBI libraries for graphic biology applications (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvibrant6-dev
libvibrant6-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvibrant6-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvibrant6-dev *
You will get with libvibrant6-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
