libversion-perl software package provides Perl extension for Version Objects, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libversion-perl
libversion-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libversion-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libversion-perl *
You will get with libversion-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
