libversion-next-perl software package provides Perl module for simply incrementing Perl module version numbers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libversion-next-perl
libversion-next-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libversion-next-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libversion-next-perl *
You will get with libversion-next-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
