libvdk2-dev software package provides header files and static libraries for VDK library version 2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvdk2-dev
libvdk2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvdk2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvdk2-dev *
You will get with libvdk2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
