libvdk2-dbg software package provides debugging static library for the VDK C++ library version 2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvdk2-dbg
libvdk2-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvdk2-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvdk2-dbg *
You will get with libvdk2-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
