libvariable-magic-perl software package provides module to associate user-defined magic to variables from Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvariable-magic-perl
libvariable-magic-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvariable-magic-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvariable-magic-perl *
You will get with libvariable-magic-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
