libval14 software package provides DNSSEC validation library (shared library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libval14
libval14 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libval14 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libval14 *
You will get with libval14 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
