libusbip-dev software package provides USB device sharing system over IP network (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libusbip-dev
libusbip-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libusbip-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libusbip-dev *
You will get with libusbip-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
