liburi-perl software package provides module to manipulate and access URI strings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liburi-perl
liburi-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liburi-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liburi-perl *
You will get with liburi-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
