liburcu-dev software package provides userspace RCU (read-copy-update) library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liburcu-dev
liburcu-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liburcu-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liburcu-dev *
You will get with liburcu-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
