libunicode-maputf8-perl software package provides Perl module for converting between any character sets and UTF8, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libunicode-maputf8-perl
libunicode-maputf8-perl is installed in your system.
