libunicode-escape-perl software package provides escape and unescape Unicode characters, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libunicode-escape-perl
libunicode-escape-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libunicode-escape-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libunicode-escape-perl *
You will get with libunicode-escape-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
