libucommon-dev software package provides lightweight C++ threading and sockets - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libucommon-dev
libucommon-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libucommon-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libucommon-dev *
You will get with libucommon-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
