libthread-pool-simple-perl software package provides Perl implementation of a simple thread pool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libthread-pool-simple-perl
libthread-pool-simple-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libthread-pool-simple-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libthread-pool-simple-perl *
