libtest-effects-perl software package provides Perl module to test various effects at once, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtest-effects-perl
libtest-effects-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtest-effects-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtest-effects-perl *
You will get with libtest-effects-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
