libtest-debian-perl software package provides perl tests for debian, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtest-debian-perl
libtest-debian-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtest-debian-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtest-debian-perl *
You will get with libtest-debian-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
