libterm-size-any-perl software package provides unified interface to retrieve the terminal size from Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libterm-size-any-perl
libterm-size-any-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libterm-size-any-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libterm-size-any-perl *
You will get with libterm-size-any-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
