libtag1-vanilla software package provides audio meta-data library - vanilla flavour, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtag1-vanilla
libtag1-vanilla is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtag1-vanilla package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtag1-vanilla *
You will get with libtag1-vanilla package name, version, architecture and description in a table
