libsyslog-ocaml software package provides syslog routines for OCaml (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsyslog-ocaml
libsyslog-ocaml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsyslog-ocaml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsyslog-ocaml *
You will get with libsyslog-ocaml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
