libsynthesis-dev software package provides library for SyncML-DS (SyncML Data Sync) clients (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsynthesis-dev
libsynthesis-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsynthesis-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsynthesis-dev *
You will get with libsynthesis-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
