libswitch-perl software package provides switch statement for Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libswitch-perl
libswitch-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libswitch-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libswitch-perl *
You will get with libswitch-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
