How to uninstall or remove libsundials-nvecserial0 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libsundials-nvecserial0 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libsundials-nvecserial0

Uninstall libsundials-nvecserial0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libsundials-nvecserial0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsundials-nvecserial0

Use Purging libsundials-nvecserial0

If you use with purge options to libsundials-nvecserial0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libsundials-nvecserial0

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsundials-nvecserial0
