libsubunit-dev software package provides Unit testing protocol - Development headers and static library for libsubunit, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsubunit-dev
libsubunit-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsubunit-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsubunit-dev *
You will get with libsubunit-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
