libstring-compare-constanttime software package provides module for protecting string comparison from timing attacks, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstring-compare-constanttime
libstring-compare-constanttime is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstring-compare-constanttime package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstring-compare-constanttime*
You will get with libstring-compare-constanttime package name, version, architecture and description in a table
