libstax-ex-java software package provides Extended StAX API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstax-ex-java
libstax-ex-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstax-ex-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstax-ex-java *
You will get with libstax-ex-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
