libstatistics-distributions-pe software package provides module for calculating some values of common statistical distributions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstatistics-distributions-pe
libstatistics-distributions-pe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstatistics-distributions-pe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstatistics-distributions-pe*
You will get with libstatistics-distributions-pe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
