libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl software package provides module implementing getaddrinfo and getnameinfo, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl
libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl *
You will get with libsocket-getaddrinfo-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
