libsnmp-session-perl software package provides Perl support for accessing SNMP-aware devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsnmp-session-perl
libsnmp-session-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsnmp-session-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsnmp-session-perl *
You will get with libsnmp-session-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
