How to uninstall or remove libsmokeplasma3 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libsmokeplasma3 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libsmokeplasma3

Uninstall libsmokeplasma3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libsmokeplasma3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsmokeplasma3

Use Purging libsmokeplasma3

If you use with purge options to libsmokeplasma3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libsmokeplasma3

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsmokeplasma3
