libskk-dev software package provides library to deal with Japanese kana-kanji conversion method - development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libskk-dev
libskk-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libskk-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libskk-dev *
You will get with libskk-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
