libsfgfortran-4.8-dev software package provides Runtime library for GNU Fortran applications (soft float ABI development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsfgfortran-4.8-dev
libsfgfortran-4.8-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsfgfortran-4.8-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsfgfortran-4.8-dev *
You will get with libsfgfortran-4.8-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
