How to uninstall or remove libscrypt0 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libscrypt0 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libscrypt0 

Uninstall libscrypt0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libscrypt0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libscrypt0 
Use Purging libscrypt0

If you use with purge options to libscrypt0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libscrypt0 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libscrypt0
