librtmidi-dbg software package provides C++ library for realtime MIDI input/ouput (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librtmidi-dbg
librtmidi-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librtmidi-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librtmidi-dbg *
You will get with librtmidi-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
