librtfcomp-dev software package provides Library to read compressed RTF files (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librtfcomp-dev
librtfcomp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librtfcomp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librtfcomp-dev *
You will get with librtfcomp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
