librsvg2-dev software package provides SAX-based renderer library for SVG files (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librsvg2-dev
librsvg2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librsvg2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librsvg2-dev *
You will get with librsvg2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
