librpmio3 software package provides RPM IO shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librpmio3
librpmio3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librpmio3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librpmio3 *
You will get with librpmio3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
