librpc-xml-perl software package provides Perl implementation of the XML-RPC protocol, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librpc-xml-perl
librpc-xml-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librpc-xml-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librpc-xml-perl *
You will get with librpc-xml-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
