librest-extras-dev software package provides REST service access library extra components (development headers), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install librest-extras-dev
librest-extras-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the librest-extras-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep librest-extras-dev *
You will get with librest-extras-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
