How to uninstall or remove libqtsensors1 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libqtsensors1 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libqtsensors1

Uninstall libqtsensors1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libqtsensors1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libqtsensors1

Use Purging libqtsensors1

If you use with purge options to libqtsensors1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libqtsensors1

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libqtsensors1
