How to uninstall or remove libqtruby4shared2 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libqtruby4shared2 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libqtruby4shared2

Uninstall libqtruby4shared2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libqtruby4shared2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libqtruby4shared2

Use Purging libqtruby4shared2

If you use with purge options to libqtruby4shared2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libqtruby4shared2

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libqtruby4shared2
