libqgis-gui2.0.1 software package provides QGIS - shared libraries (libqgis-gui), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libqgis-gui2.0.1
libqgis-gui2.0.1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libqgis-gui2.0.1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libqgis-gui2.0.1 *
You will get with libqgis-gui2.0.1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
