libqd-dev software package provides Double-double and quad double types in C++ and F90, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libqd-dev
libqd-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libqd-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libqd-dev *
You will get with libqd-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
