How to uninstall or remove libqalculate5 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libqalculate5 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libqalculate5

Uninstall libqalculate5 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libqalculate5 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libqalculate5

Use Purging libqalculate5

If you use with purge options to libqalculate5 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libqalculate5

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libqalculate5
