libpst-dev software package provides library for reading Microsoft Outlook PST files (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpst-dev
libpst-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpst-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpst-dev *
You will get with libpst-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
