libproxy1 software package provides automatic proxy configuration management library (shared), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libproxy1
libproxy1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libproxy1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libproxy1 *
You will get with libproxy1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
