libproperties-cpp-dev software package provides C++11 library providing properties/signals. - dev headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libproperties-cpp-dev
libproperties-cpp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libproperties-cpp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libproperties-cpp-dev *
You will get with libproperties-cpp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
