libprojectm-qt-dev software package provides projectM Qt4 (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libprojectm-qt-dev
libprojectm-qt-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libprojectm-qt-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libprojectm-qt-dev *
You will get with libprojectm-qt-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
