libproc-waitstat-perl software package provides interpret and act on wait() status values, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libproc-waitstat-perl
libproc-waitstat-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libproc-waitstat-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libproc-waitstat-perl *
You will get with libproc-waitstat-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
