libprivileges-drop-perl software package provides module to make it simple to drop all privileges, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libprivileges-drop-perl
libprivileges-drop-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libprivileges-drop-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libprivileges-drop-perl *
You will get with libprivileges-drop-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
