libpreludedb-perl software package provides Security Information Management System [ Base library ], you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpreludedb-perl
libpreludedb-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpreludedb-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpreludedb-perl *
You will get with libpreludedb-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
